Oak City Hot Sauce Co was founded by Zack Goodman and Chef Devin Bayles in Raleigh, North Carolina. ...By accident.
When a big order of peppers turned out way too spicy to use in their intended dish, rather than waste, they made the first unofficial batch of Oak City Hot Sauce in 2017.
After countless hours in the test kitchen, they produced the first official line of sauces, with the goal of sauce that adds to dishes, rather than overwhelm them.
All of our sauces are vegan and gluten free, free of dyes, preservatives, extracts and artificial colors. Our produce is sustainably sourced from local farmers.
Zachary Goodman
The owner and founder of Oak City Hot Sauce Co. He dislikes writing blurbs about himself and poorly seasoned food.
Chef Devin Bayles
A Raleigh, NC native in the culinary industry for the last 7 years, including 4 Star 4 Diamond hotels. A fan of local beers and spirits, and competitive contact sports.
